It is with great interest that I am applying for the position of Principal. My teaching experience has taught me how to build strong relationships with the people in our community. My passion to make a difference in the lives of our students and the talent of making people be the best that they can be transcends social, ethnic and gender distinctions and all barriers of language, color or creed. I am good at developing people’s potential to the fullest. It’s amazing how can I develop people’s potential that even they themselves didn’t know it exist. I want to share this unique gift and I am hoping that you will give the chance to touch students lives in a larger scale.
I believe that I am the ideal candidate for the position due to my 20 years of successful teaching experiences, the training that I received in the Northeast Leadership Academy coupled with the education that I received from the best universities in the Philippines and here in the United States. In addition to that I have a reputation for being a hard worker who makes sure the job is done right the first time.
You will find the attached resume covers past experiences but here is a summary of what I have to offer:
The ability to promote collaborative problem solving and open communication, collect, analyze, and use data to identify school needs; use data to identify and plan for needed changes in the instructional program; implement and monitor the school improvement plan; and using systems thinking to establish a clear focus on attaining student achievementgoals.
The talent to create a safe, respectful, positive and effective learning environment and evaluate staff performance.
What the attached resume’ cannot explain is my uncompromising view that all students can learn, given a positive and nurturing learning atmosphere that welcomes exploration and enhances student confidence and self-concept. It is my belief that an educator’s mission is to make school enjoyable and exciting- if students look forward to attending school, they will want to LEARN. I believe that is what school is all about.
I have strong commitment to educating our students and I want to return after my administrative internship/ graduation with a renewed sense of enthusiasm, commitment, and purpose.
I would appreciate the opportunity to meet and share with you my commitment to fostering the growth of your school. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Annabel C. Bello
